Premier gets on board with the Evolution digital paper revolution as it relaunches its 100% recycled offering with new branding.

A pioneer in driving change, Evolution’s improved digital paper range boasts a stellar sustainability record while maintaining its reputation for quality and high-level performance. Distributed by Premier throughout the UK and Ireland, this offering brings a transformative approach to the printing industry.

Evolution is a range of digital, 100% uncoated papers, made entirely from reclaimed, FSC® certified fibre. Developed to meet the specific requirements of the digital print industry, it offers high levels of whiteness, achieved without the addition of optical brightening agents, chlorine or bleach.

Comprising two products, Evolution Everyday and Evolution Business, the collection is designed to meet the needs of customers who value environmental integrity and is endorsed by several prominent organisations, including the FSC®, EcoLabel and the Nordic Swan. It also boasts certifications for its recyclability and low carbon emissions, and is TÜC AUSTRIA compliant.

Now rebranded to reflect the upbeat nature of the products, both offer good opacity, excellent runnability on laser, inkjet and pre-print machines, ageing resistance, deinking (done inhouse), and optimal sheet formation, making it a superior choice if you’re looking for high-end results.

Available in reams of 500 sheets or boxes of five reams, Premier is proud to be a primary distributor in both the UK and Ireland (through PremierGPMI).

Brad West, Premier’s Wide Format Media Director (UK & Ireland), commented that, “The Evolution digital paper range epitomises the possibility of merging quality with sustainability, making it a go-to product for clients who want the best of both worlds. We’re excited to continue partnering with the brand to bring workable, eco-friendly solutions to the print industry.”

Premier now exclusively stocking Drytac’s brilliant new printable Polar Frost polymeric film throughout the UK and Ireland

On the back of their successful Polar Frost Air product, Drytac has just launched Polar Frost, a premium translucent matt polymeric film that mimics the aesthetic of etched glass. Ideal for printing and wet applications, it’s an exciting new addition to Premier’s already extensive range of quality window films.

Known for its innovations in adhesive science, Drytac has continued to expand its highly acclaimed wide-format print media offerings with Polar Frost, a new-generation of window graphics material that’s made for high performance.

Suitable for glass and other smooth surfaces, this 90mic product boasts an embossed pearl finish that replicates the elegance of etched glass without the inflated cost. In addition, it is suitable for (eco)solvent, latex, and UV print technologies, providing the option to combine privacy with bright, vivid images, options that meet your client’s specific needs.

Overlayed with a clear permanent adhesive that’s protected by a two-sided PE-coated release liner, it behaves like a traditional decorative glass film, allowing for wet applications that enable clean repositioning for a precision finish.

As the exclusive provider of Polar Frost in the UK and Ireland, Premier looks forward to bringing this product to market as part of its quality sign and display line.

Brad West, Premier’s Wide Format Media Director (UK & Ireland), stated: “Drytac continues to be a leader in innovative adhesive signage and display materials, and Polar Frost will not disappoint. We are delighted to include it in our offering and, with the backing of our expert team and localised service, we look forward to supporting our customers in providing printed products that stand out from the crowd.”
