myReef paper has tactile properties based on the complex textures found in coral reefs. The tonalities of the pulp-dyed colours are inspired by the ocean environment – the white and grey of the sand, the red of the coral, the brown of the rocks, the blue of deep waters and the black of the abysses.
Suited for diverse applications, printing methods, and most finishing techniques.
This amazing creative paper range includes shades black, blue, brown, grey, red and white.
myReef can be used with the main printing systems and finishing techniques: offset with traditional inks, offset with UV inks, letterpress, blind embossing, foil blocking, thermography and silk screen printing.
The CO2 emissions from this product can be mitigated through the Carbon Capture® programme, directly supporting the work of the Woodland Trust.

Printing Suggestions
The best printing technique applicable to myReef is offset with UV inks. The immediate cross linking provided by the UV irradiation eliminates any form of setting-off. In the case of traditional offset printing, it is advisable to use specialised oxidizing inks for plastic substrates, which will allow quick drying.
Applying a protective in-line acrylic varnish with the addition of a minimum amount of anti-friction allows
the printer to increase the height of the output stack. Drying times may vary, depending on ink charges
and compliance with process variables. Good results are obtained with all important converting processes:
cutting, creasing, die cutting, folding, gluing and lamination. For lamination it is advisable to perform tests
before carrying out the process. To guarantee optimal yield when utilising special processing and elaborate
finishing, it is possible to request myReef samples to be used for printing tests.
