October 2014 – The event was held on 25th September, with over 200 customers in attendance, and some 16 suppliers exhibiting their products including: Sappi, Lecta and Stora Enso, with customers encouraged to visit the stands and meet the paper mills to discuss and learn more about the products on offer through the Premier Paper Group. Customers also got to meet the Premier Digital, Premier Hedsorboard and Carbon Capture teams.

The evening’s proceedings commenced with guests and customers arriving at the branch from 6:30pm, where they were met by their local Premier Paper sales team.

Guests then tried their hand at blackjack and roulette and took to the wheel of the Xtreme Racing Challenge.

Renowned close up magician and Britain’s Got Talent finalist David Penn also amazed customers with his range of trickery and magic, whilst guests enjoyed delicious food prepared, cooked and served on site by local caterers. Amongst other refreshments there were local ales supplied by the award winning Old Cannon brewery.

In addition, there were many competitions held on the night with participants winning champagne, digital speakers and some other exciting prizes. The evening finished around 11:30pm, with all guests leaving the branch with smiles on their faces, goodies in their bags and food in their bellies.

Since opening in 2012, the Bury St Edmunds branch, which services customers across the East Anglia; has enjoyed two successful years of business. The local sales team is comprised of experienced, friendly and motivated staff who are dedicated to providing a top quality service to all of their customers.

The branch stocks over 750 pallets of paper for customers based in and around the East Anglia area. Customers also have access to a further 20,000 tonnes of papers which are held throughout the Premier branch network, all available for next-day delivery.

Commenting on the event and the success of the business over the past two years, Bury St Edmunds branch Sales Manager Martin Chadwick, said, “An enjoyable evening was had by all. We would like to thank all of our customers, suppliers and staff for helping to make such a successful event.”
