March 2017 – The Premier Paper Group, the UK’s largest independent paper merchant, has announced that it has become a stockist of the Double A brand of office papers, which are produced and manufactured at the Alizay pulp and paper mill facility in Northern France. The Alizay mill has a combined pulp and paper production capacity of 300,000 tonnes per year.

The Double A brand of office papers includes 75, 80, 90 & 100gsm weights in A4 and A3. Double A – Business, Premium, Colorprint and Presentation are now available throughout the UK from the Premier Paper Group

Double A is a premium paper known for its high quality and superior performance. Double A’s high fibre content makes it the best copy paper for high-speed machines, with good runnability, printing sharpness and excellent smoothness, together with a high bright whiteness.

Its smooth surface allows for good toner transfer, making copies as sharp as the original, whilst it smoothness provides a high quality touch providing effortless printing capabilities. Its bright, white appearance provides a high print contrast and also a resistance to fading.

The opacity and excellent formation qualities of Double A are attributed to its high quality fibre content, with some 30m fibres per gram contained in its formation. This allows for double-sided use as well as a longer storage period thanks to its acid-free content.

Having passed a ‘No Jam’ runnability test for the continuous copying of 100,000 sheets of Double A paper through a high-speed copying machine, when Double A states it has a ‘No Jam’ confirmation, it means it!
